Chambers Medical Specialists is a group practice of psychiatrists specialising in the interface between psychiatry and the legal system. The practice provides medicolegal reports on Workers Compensation and Third Party matters, work fitness assessments as well as reports for statutory bodies such as the Motor Accidents Authority and the Workers Compensation Commission. We also specialise in assessments in relation to total and permanent disablement for superannuation purposes.
The practice currently comprises of senior psychiatrists who hold accreditation with the Motor Accident Authority (NSW) and the Workers Compensation Commission for treatment disputes and permanent impairment assessment.
The practice adheres to the principles of procedural fairness and impartiality, promptly supplying reports and opinions based on current evidence-based medicine and research. Members of the practice have rooms in Sydney, Newcastle, Perth and Canberra.
The practice in not owned by, or affiliated with insurance companies. Chambers Medical Specialists does not enter service contracts with individual insurers, legal firms, employers or unions. Our experts' names, and their qualifications are displayed on our website.
